Pulaski County has a rich history of service to the United States military. We cannot showcase everyone, but some noteable veterans will grace these pages.

Veterans’ Index

From 2019 to 2023, a local group of volunteers came together to raise funds to light the historic Memorial Swinging Bridge in the Winamac Park. Along the way, veterans were honored in many ways. This index was developed. It is 137 pages long and includes the names of over 3,000 Pulaski County veterans who served in many eras. The list is not all-inclusive.
